The razor

This razor dates to around the 1920s–30s, possibly as late as the 1940s. Tiki razors were made in Germany by Grah & Plümacher and sold under the Tiki name for the New Zealand market. Under the name, this is essentially a Gotta 120, a well-regarded full hollow grind.

The blade carries a gold-washed TIKI etch, and the tang reads Finest Sheffield Steel, forged and real hollow ground in Germany. It comes with its original box, printed The Tiki Razor, Real Hollow Ground in Germany.

What’s included

  • The razor
  • Its original Tiki box

Restoration and condition

Lightly restored, keeping its original character, with the original celluloid scales left in place.

Please note

The scales are slightly warped, so the razor needs a little care when closing.

Honing

The natural stones shown in the photos aren’t included.
